TRESCOTT – Joyce Cecelia Dinsmore, 74, passed away unexpectedly Nov. 7, 2005, in Cincinnati, Ohio while visiting family. She was born May 23, 1931, in Lubec, the daughter of John and Doris (Bean) Durgan. She graduated from Lubec High School in 1949. She was the president of the Women’s Aglow Chapter in Kingston, N.Y. for several years and belonged to the River of God Church in Machias. She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family and was committed to serving the Lord. She is survived by her husband, Glen; daughter, Cindy Dinsmore; son, Dwight and his wife, Barbara; daughter, Lori Yensan and her husband, Richard; daughter, Paula Murrow and her husband, Derek; son, Robert and his friend, Michael; son, Scott and his wife, Jayna; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her four sisters, Mary Davis, Annabelle “Kay” Hudson, Joanne Hanson, and her twin sister, Justine “Kick” Jones. Visiting hours will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11, at Bragdon-Kelley-Campbell Funeral Home, 6 Cooper St., Machias. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov 12, at the Machias Valley Baptist Church with Pastor Ralph Ackley and Pastor George Henderson officiating.
