ALEXANDER – Doris I. Edgerly, 95, died Oct. 31, 2004, at a Bangor hospital. She was born June 5, 1909, in Alexander the daughter of Llewellyn and Fannie (Fenlason) Dwelley. Doris attended the Church Of The Open Bible in Alexander. She was predeceased by her first husband, Lyman Strout; and second husband, George Edgerly; four brothers, Wayne, Frank, Harold, and Everett Dwelley; one infant daughter, Doris E. Strout; special friend Orris McKeown; and son-in-law, Donald Garner in 2000. Surviving are three daughters, Winifred S. Carroll and her husband, Clarence, of Bangor, Lois E. Faloon and her husband, Randall Sr., of Passadumkeag, Fern V. Garner, of Alexander; five grandchildren, Sharon Cooper, Peter Phelan Sr., Lyman Phelan, Linda Smith, Rebecca Wright; several great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; two sisters-in-law, Ruth, and Viola Dwelley. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 2, at the Scott-Wilson Funeral Home, Calais. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 3, at the funeral home with Pastor Bob Hinton officiating. Burial will be in the Alexander Cemetery. Those who wish may make donations in her memory to the Church Of The Open Bible.
