MARS HILL – Doris L. Fletcher, 86, died unexpectedly Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2007, at a Presque Isle hospital. She was born March 11, 1921, in Kilburn, New Brunswick, the daughter of Jerry and Nellie (Giberson) Inman. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 63 years, Waldo Fletcher of Mars Hill; her daughter, Deborah Bell and her husband, Jim, of Monticello; two grandchildren, Thor Brown of Anchorage, Alaska, and Shannon Kearney of Grand Manan, New Brunswick; four great-grand-children, Gage, Hardin, Frank and Joshua; a sister, Joyce Reece of Seabrook, N.H.; a brother, Frances Inman of Concord, N.H.; several nieces and nephews who will miss her greatly. Relatives and friends may call 4-6 p.m. Thursday and 1-2 p.m. Friday at Duncan Funeral Home, 8 Main St., Mars Hill, where funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday with the Rev.
