VEAZIE – Doris McIntyre Norris, 97, wife of Walter J. Norris, died Jan. 10, 2006, at a Bangor nursing facility. She was born Jan. 19, 1908, in Medway, the daughter of William W. and Annette (Prescott) Dickey. Doris graduated from the Eastern Academy of Beauty Culture and worked as a beautician in Bangor and Lincoln. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Shirley Lyons of Bangor and a son, Edward McIntyre and his wife, Florence, of Charlottesville, Va.; four grandchildren, Michael Whitney, James Whitney, Elaine Hamilton and Pamela Dill. She was predeceased by her first husband, Angus J. McIntyre, June 1, 1959. She was also predeceased by a daughter, Joan Whitney; a sister, Kathleen Moro; two brothers, Thaxter Dickey and George Dickey; a grandson, Timothy Whitney; and a granddaughter, Roxanne Drinkwater.
