EAST MACHIAS – Dorothy (Cook) Dodge, 72, passed away unexpectedly Jan. 30, 2006, at home. She was born July 8, 1933, in Calais, the daughter of the late Donald and Marion Cook. She graduated from Calais High School and worked for Marshall Manor for a number of years. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Lawrence Dodge Sr. She is survived by five children, Allen Dodge of Steuben, Sheryl Dodge and Cathy Dodge of East Machias, Lawrence Dodge Jr. and wife, Beth, of Machias, and Pastor William Dodge and wife, Debbie, of Machiasport; five grandchildren, Tiffany and Tanya Dodge of Machias, Jason Dodge of East Machias, Evan Dodge of Machiasport and Scott Pinkham and wife, Barb, of Franklin; one great-granddaughter, Constance Alexandria “Alex” Pinkham of Franklin; sister, Marion “Honey” Labrie; and a brother, Donald Cook. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, at the Jacksonville Cemetery officiated by Pastor George Henderson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family at P.O. Box 674, East Machias, ME 04630. Arrangements are under the care of Bragdon-Kelley-Campbell Funeral Home, Machias.
