DOROTHY ‘DOTTY’ A. LITTLE BANGOR – Dorothy “Dotty” A. Little, 81, died Sept. 14, 2008, at a Brewer health care facility. She was born Jan. 13, 1927, in Old Town, the daughter of George E. and Elsimy M. (Morrin) Gardner. Dotty was a longtime member of St. John’s Catholic Church, Bangor. She was an avid bingo player. Her family was her life, and even though her heart was broken after the loss of her husband, she dearly loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and she will be dearly missed. She is survived by her children, George and wife, Pam, Mike and wife, Sarah, and Brenda and husband, William; daughter-in-law, Susan; grand-children, Kimberly, George Jr., Deborah, Ruth Ann, Joleen, Stephanie, Billy Jr., Branden, KC and Ashley; two sisters, Rose and Patricia; great-grandchildren, Jessica, Gabby, Morgan, Christopher, Elisabeth, Tiphanie, Kayleigh, Michael, Arrianaha, Tristen, Mya, Angelina, Jeramiah, Branden Jr., Amelia and Joshua; several nieces and nephews. Dotty was predeceased by her loving husband of 50 years, Herman Little; and a son, Dwane Little. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 19, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, with the Rev. Seamus Griesbach officiating. Interment will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Bangor.
