EDWIN W. ‘EDDIE’ HALL WINTHROP, Mass. – Edwin W. “Eddie” Hall, 34, formerly of Orono, died peacefully Sept. 15, 2008. He was born Nov. 3, 1973, in Lowell, Mass. Edwin spent his childhood years in Orono. He was the beloved husband of Allison S. (Dall); father of his beautiful daughter, Katie Summer Hall of Winthrop; cherished son of Mary Havey of Hampton, N.H., and Robert Hall Sr. of Winthrop; brother of Laurie Albert of Winterport, Robert Hall Jr. of Chesapeake, Va., Eric Hall of Andover, Mass., Sara Belisle of Kensington, N.H., William Hall of Billerica, Mass., and Ellen Hall of Paris, France. He is also survived by two brothers-in-law, four sisters-in-law, 13 nieces and nephews, and many close friends. Eddie attended Penn State University, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in quantitative business analysis and was president of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. After graduating from Penn State, he moved to the Boston area, where he held positions with American Management Systems Inc., the Boston Consulting Group Inc. and, most recently, was a consultant for Emptoris Inc., Burlington, Mass. He received his master’s in business administration at Babson College, where he graduated summa cum laude. He will be especially remembered for his commitment to his wife and daughter, his enormous love of family and friends, his incredible integrity and compassion, sense of humor and his continued desire for knowledge. He was also a true fan of his beloved Boston Red Sox, Celtics and the New England Patriots. Visiting hours will take place 2-4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19, at First United Methodist Church, 217 Winthrop St., Winthrop, Mass., with a service to celebrate Eddie’s life at 4 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited.
