BANGOR – Dorothy Emma Bretthauer, 90, a longtime resident of Magnolia, N.J. and wife of the late Luke Bretthauer, died peacefully Feb. 20, 2006, at a Howland healthcare facility. She was born July 25, 1915, in Clementon, N.J., the daughter of Jacob C. and Emma (Horay) Marquart. Surviving are one son, Bruce L. Bretthauer and his wife, Jane, of Bangor; two granddaughters, Linda Corey and her husband, Eric, of Baileyville, Susan Huber and her husband, Scott, of Milbridge; and two great-grandsons, Nicholas and Tucker. A memorial service for the family only will be held Thursday, Feb. 23, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, with the Rev. Clayton Blackstone, officiating. Interment will be in the Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill, N.J.
