MILLINOCKET – Dorothy Frances (Michaud) Ouellette, 93, died on Nov. 13, 2003, at her home in Millinocket. She was born July 10, 1910, in Millinocket, the daughter of Jeremiah and Madeline (Cyr) Michaud. Her husband, Walter J. Ouellette, predeceased her in 1981. She graduated from Stearns High School in 1928 and from the Maine School of Commerce in Portland in 1930. She was a member of St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, past Regent of Little Flower Circle, Daughters of Isabella, and a past member of the Retired Senior Volunteer Program. Dot worked as an office employee at Great Northern Paper Company for 36 years, retiring in 1969. She also taught typing and shorthand at Stearns High School for two years. She is survived by 10 nieces and nephews and their families; and by the special loving family of Donald and Beatrice Charette of Millinocket. She was predeceased by her parents; also her sister, Beatrice J. Tompkins in 1980; her brother, Edward J. Michaud in 1993; and her stepmother, Egline Helen Michaud in 1983. At her request there will be no visiting hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 17, 2003, at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, Millinocket. Burial will follow in Millinocket Cemetery. If friends wish, donations may be made for Masses for her intention to her sponsored Priest, Father Gustavo Cavagnori of the Salesian Missions, care of Rev.
