GARLAND – Dorothy L. Robinson, 73, died March 19, 2008, surrounded by her family, at a Bangor hospital. She was born April 29, 1934, in Exeter, daughter of Christopher and Winifred (Gaspar) Hayden. She worked for many years for Dexter Shoe Co., Dexter, and later in the Garland town office. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, farming, going to camp, watching wildlife, and spending time with her cats and dog. She is survived by her husband, Eugene Robinson of Garland; two sons and their wives, Sgt. Arthur and Marlene Ward of Bangor, and Krisken and Marta Robinson of New York; three daughters and their husbands, Lynda and Joe Baldwin of Garland, Martha Ward-Corliss and Steve Corliss of Corinna, and Regina and Ethan Fick of Garland; a sister and her husband, Deborah and Chuck Wisdom of Texas; eight grandchildren, Sonja, Amanda, Rachel, Becca, Ethan, Seth, Nick and David; seven great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Gordon Joslyn of Brownville; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Jeannie Joslyn. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, at Garland Baptist Church with the Rev. Barry Buzzell officiating.
