MILLINOCKET – Dorothy P. Bouchard, 65, passed away Monday, Dec. 13, 2004, after a long courageous battle from complications with the respiratory disease (COPD). She was born Sept, 5, 1939, in Millinocket, the daughter of David and Matilda (Willette) Pelkey. Dot enjoyed the simple things in life, like spending time sitting and talking with her grandchildren and children. Dot also enjoyed cooking for her family and friends, especially blueberry muffins and pie. She was an avid reader who enjoyed reading great novels. She was part of the group, “Denim and Leather Line Dancing”. For the past 20 years she enjoyed camping at the Big Eddy with her husband, Bee where she met many of her dearest friends. Dot is survived by her beloved husband of 44 years, Gilbert “Bee” Bouchard of Millinocket; two daughters, Edwina and her husband, Brad Wheaton, of Millinocket, Cheryl and her husband, Bill Hauger, of Winterport; four sons, Richard and his wife, Linda Bouchard, of Virginia, Michael and his wife, Kristin Bouchard, of Millinocket, Larry Bouchard of Virginia, Brian Bouchard of Millinocket; nine grandchildren, Danielle and Bradley Wheaton, Brittany and Victoria Bouchard, Ashley and Tyler Bouchard, Brandon, Dylan, and Zachary Bouchard; a very special niece, Debbie Ayotte; two sisters, Claudette Preston of Millinocket, Theresa Martin of North Carolina; two brothers, Allison Pelkey of Virginia, David Pelkey of Millinocket. She was predeceased by her sister, Shirley McCluskey; also many nieces and nephews she was very fond of. Friends may call 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 16, 2004 at R.L. Bouchard Funeral Home, 11 Tamarack St., Millinocket. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 17, at the funeral home.
