HERMON – Dorothy Palmer Boudreau, 77, died Feb. 17, 2007, at her residence. She was born Dec. 12, 1929, in Forest Hills, N.Y., the daughter of Frank and Marion (McKay) Palmer. Dorothy graduated from Carmel High School in 1948 and attended Husson College. She worked in the Newport Woolen Mill and later was a housewife and baby sitter. She married Francis Boudreau, April 24, 1953, and had resided in Hermon ever since then. Dorothy and Francis enjoyed traveling throughout 49 states and most of Canada. She also enjoyed gardening, country music shows and especially spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Francis Boudreau of Hermon; two daughters, Linda Boudreau of Bangor, and Donna Mahon and her husband, Gregory Mahon, of Hermon; two grandchildren, Francis and Marion Mahon and her fiance, Seth Astbury; two brothers, Bill Palmer and his wife, Jannette, and Colby Palmer of Carmel; and one sister, Margaret Brewer of Bangor. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one sister, Marion Higgins. Friends may call 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, where a funeral service will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 21, with the Rev. Robert T. Carlson, Chaplain of the Penobscot County Sheriffs Office, officiating. Spring interment will be at Snow’s Corner Cemetery, Hermon.
