QUINCY, Mass. – Nellie I. (McAvoy, Mullen) Bonspille, formally of Benedicta, Dorchester, Mass., and Oka, Quebec, passed Feb. 14, 2007, after a long illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur Bonspille and the late Raymond T. Mullen; loving sister of Roland McAvoy of Sarah, Miss., and Freda Nickerson of Patten; loving mother of 14 children, Michael Mullen and Barry J. Mullen of Dorchester, Mass., Noelene Drake of Lawton, Okla., Kathleen Donovan of Weymouth, Mass., Maureen Townsend of Quincy, Mass., Eric Bonspille, Trevor Bonspille, Deborah Bonspille, Esther Bonspille, William Bonspille and Benoit Bonspille, all of New Brunswick, Canada, the late Marc Mullen, Eileen Perry and Delores Bonspille. She is survived by 19 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Friends and family are invited to the wake 4-8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 19, at Keaney Funeral Home, 1632 Dorchester Ave., Dorchester, Mass. A funeral service will take place 10 a.m. Feb. 20, at the funeral home.
