AUBURNDALE, Fla. – Mrs. Dorothy Pearl “Dot” Patterson, 79, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2007, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center, due to complications from a traffic accident. Mrs. Patterson was born Sept. 28, 1927, in Westfield, to Guy and Elizabeth (Burtchell) Winship. Dot was a resident of Auburndale, Fla., since 1990, coming from Connecticut. Dot was retired from the customer service department of K-Mart. Dot’s special interests were enjoying retirement, family, taking care of her grandchildren, camping with family and dancing. Dot was predeceased by her parents; and husband of 40 years, Lloyd A. Patterson. Dot is survived by her loving family, two daughters, Brenda and husband, Will Forbes, of Biddeford and Deborah Barriault of Clearwater, Fla.; one brother, Emerson and wife, Sandra Winship, of Presque Isle; four sisters, Pearl Peluso of Presque Isle, Virginia Brown of Presque Isle, Geraldine Laing of Westfield and Pauline Davenport of Presque Isle; four grandchildren, Brian and wife, Kim Forbes, of Portland, Ore., Kyrra and husband, Scott Mahaney, of Hudson, N.H., Blair Barriault of Clearwater, Fla., and Lindsay Barriault of Clear-water, Fla.; seven great-grandchildren, Katie, Tim, Michael, Ellie, Trevor, Tyler and Brendan; special friends, Sandy and husband, Kevin Lynch, of Clearwater, Fla., Bob and Hazel Fox of Auburndale, Fla., and Ken and Pat McGuire of Auburndale, Fla.; several nieces and nephews. An inurnment will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday, July 28, at Marshall Cemetery, Westfield.
