BANGOR – Dustin T. Wells, 19, died unexpectedly Thursday, Jan. 10, 2008, as a result of an accident while working on his truck. He was born Jan. 14, 1988, in Bangor, son of Troy and Holly Wells of Bangor. Dustin was known for his mischievous smile and wry sense of humor. He loved to tinker with anything that had a motor. Dustin would spend hours driving nowhere until he ran out of gas or broke down and it was only a matter of time before he would be on the road again. He had his own lawn care business, “Well Done Lawn Care” in the summer months and was starting to plow in the winter months. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Brooklynn Wells; son, Everett Wells; and their mother, Kariann Barnes of Bangor; sisters, Miranda Mayhew of Carmel, Harli Ann Wells of Bangor, Ashley Wells of Hudson and Maggie Wagner of Bangor; brothers, Christopher Mayhew of Newburgh and Jason Wagner of Bangor; grandparents, Dale and Lorna Robbins of Hermon; aunt, Nichole Gregory and her husband, Kevin, of Bradford; great-grandmother Ada Burke of Hermon; great-aunts, Jolette Burke of Winterport and Jolene Mitchell of Bangor; great-uncle, Gary Burke of Hermon; a special “Aunt Sue Sue,” Sue Burleigh of Old Town; and good friend and business partner, David Lehr of Bangor. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Arthur and Elsie Bogert; and by his great-grandfather, Albert Burke. Friends may call 1-2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, where a funeral service will be held 2 p.m. with the Rev. Dennis Harvey, assistant pastor of Calvary Chapel, officiating. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments after the service at Dustin’s grandparent’s residence, 763 Fuller Road, Hermon. Interment will be held in the spring.
