HERMON – Dwane A. Little, 53, peacefully passed away Friday, Feb. 16, 2007, after suffering with a rare kidney disease, at his home with his wife by his side. Dwane was born July 25, 1953, in Bangor, to the parents of Dorothy Alice (Gardner) and the late Hermon Erplie Little. Dwane will be sadly missed by his Burner Technician buddies, who he has made friends with along the 35 years in his trade. Even after his disability, he would meet at Bell-Simon or Sid Harvey’s, to catch up on the latest heating gossip. Dwane was also a member of the Old Town’s Elks Lodge No. 1287 and Brewer Eagles Club No. 3177 for many years. Dwane’s passion was fishing and hunting. He often spoke of the special fishing trip with his father, Hermon; uncle, Coda; and his brother, Mike. Dwane is survived by his wife of 18 years, Susan (Thibeault) Little of Hermon; two daughters, Kimberly and husband, Harry Burnett, of Lake Stevens, Wash., and Deborah and husband, Alex Hernandez, of Chicago; one son, Dwane and wife, Cheryl Albert, of Greenfield; grandchildren, Jessica Lynne, Gabby Lynn and Morgan Ashley of Lake Stevens, Wash., Angelina Brooke of Chicago, Tristen Coda, and a granddaughter due in March, Amelia Jean of Greenbush; mother, Dorothy Little of Brewer; two brothers, George and wife, Pam Little, of Newburgh, and Mike and wife, Sarah, of Indiana; one sister, Brenda and husband, Billy Sjostrom; mother-in-law, Noella Thibeault; sister-in-law, Linda and husband, Clarence Bryant, of Old Town; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Dwane was predeceased by his father, Hermon Little; uncle, Coda Little; and father-in-law, Lawrence Thibeault. Dwane and wife, Susan, would like to give special thanks to the dialysis nursing staff at Eastern Maine Medical Center, along with the care from the 6 East nursing staff. The staffs of Home Health of St. Joseph and the Capital Ambulance were deeply appreciated during Dwane’s last stage of his life. We can not thank you all enough for all you do each and every day for your patients and their family members. Friends may call 3-5 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, where a funeral service will be celebrated 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 21, with the Rev.
