LIBERTY – Dwight Haskell passed away unexpectedly Dec. 18, 2005, while at the garage with his brother, Dusty Haskell. Dwight was born Nov. 15, 1962, the son of the late Francis L. and Beverly W. Haskell. Dwight worked in the woods all of his life and owned Haskell & Sons Logging for the past three and a half years. He loved spending time with his family and friends, whether on his boat at the family camp on Lake St. George or going to get the biggest lobsters in New Hampshire. He also enjoyed going to the NASCAR race in Loudon, N.H. each September. Quality time spent with his grandchildren, nieces and nephews were also highlights of Dwight’s life. Dwight was predeceased by his parents, Francis “Bill” L. Haskell who passed away May 16, 2002 and Beverly W. Haskell who passed away Dec. 30, 2003; and his best friend and brother, Dwain L. Haskell who passed away March 30, 2002. Survivors include, his wife and loving companion for the past 23 years, Linda Haskell; their three daughters, Debbie Gallaway, Cindy Babb and Desiree Mikel; his brother, Dusty Haskell and his wife, Pam; his sister, Dawn Haskell; his grandchildren, Brandon and Megan Gallaway, Savanah Babb and Megan Mikel; his nieces, Jamie Haskell, Kristy Millay and her husband, George and Tara Tracy; and his nephew, Brandon Haskell. Dwight was also very fond of his great-nieces and great-nephews, Tasha and Reggie French, Ryan and Kaytie Millay, Kaleb Dechamps, and Bert and Kyle Haskell; and his life-long friends, Doc, Billy and Dewey. Dwight was full of life and will be sadly missed forever. Dwight’s motto “We’re not here for a long time…We’re here for a good time!” All truckers who are able to attend, bring your truck. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, at Lawry Brothers Funeral Home-Gray Chapel, 207 Windsor Neck Rd., Windsor, where a funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, with the Rev. Albert York, officiating. Burial will follow at Smith Cemetery in Palermo.
