LINCOLN – Roxanne Drinkwater, 51, wife of Reggie Drinkwater, died Dec. 19, 2005, at her home, after a long battle with cancer. She was born Oct. 8, 1954, in Lincoln, the daughter of Ervin and Shirley (McIntyre) Lyons. Roxanne was a longtime employee of Hannaford Brothers in Lincoln. In addition to her husband, Reggie, she is survived by a son, Shaun Drinkwater and Katie of Lincoln; a daughter, Amy Drinkwater and J.P. Porter of Newburgh; three grandchildren, Bridget, Ryan and Desmen; two stepgrandchildren, Megan and Morgan; a great-stepgrand-daughter, Amarianna; her mother, Shirley Lyons and her grandmother, Doris Norris, both of Bangor; her sister, Pamela Dill and Dennis of Enfield; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Rd., Lincoln. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Darrell Joiner, officiating. Interment will be in South Lincoln Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Cancer Care of Maine. Donations may be left at the funeral home.
