WINN – Earl H. Fogg Sr., 73, husband of Patricia (Springer) Fogg, passed away peacefully, Jan. 15, 2007, at home after a short battle with cancer. He was born Feb. 1, 1933, in Lincoln, the son of Ivory and Madeline (Beathem) Fogg. Earl was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to hunt and fish. He was a hard worker all his life, working in the woods and pouring foundations with his brothers. He also loved to ride around and go to the casinos. He loved his family very much and will be missed by all. In addition to his wife, Patricia, Earl is survived by a son, Terry “Hogg” Fogg; four daughters, Tina Porter, Earleen Fogg, all of Winn, Judy Fleming of Lincoln and Sherry Fitzgerald of Florida; three brothers, Ray and his wife, Jeanie Fogg, Doug and his wife, Pat Fogg, all of Winn, Bill and his wife, Tonty Fogg, of Lincoln; one sister, Lillian Thompson of Winn; his special grandchildren whom he loved and spoiled, Allyson, Nathan and Erica Porter, Destiny-Rae Fogg, Ryan Fogg, Hayden and Jared Fogg, Chad Fogg, Eric Ryder, Starr and Patty Fogg. Earl was predeceased by his parents; a brother, Ivory Fogg; a sister, Beatrice (Savage) Fogg; a son, Earl H. Fogg Jr.; and a daughter, Lisa A. (Handy) Fogg. Earl also leaves behind several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. At Earl’s request, there will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may leave contributions toward Earl’s funeral costs. Donations may be sent to the funeral home. Spring burial will be at Lincoln Cemetery.
