HOULTON – Eben Leroy Lilley, 96, died Aug. 8, 2004, at a local healthcare facility, surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 30, 1908, at Littleton, the son of Eben Crosby and Mary Ellen (Tims) Lilley. “Roy” was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved the outdoors whether fishing at Fowler Pond, hunting up on “B” or snowmobiling over another ridge, but most of all, he was devoted to and loved by his family. Roy is survived by three daughters, Greta Hanaway and her friend, Charlie Goddard of Austin, Texas and Millinocket, Mary Prentiss of Enfield, Conn., Sharon Raymond and her husband, Michael of Houlton; one son, Nathan Lilley and his wife, Betsy of Fairport, N.Y.; one daughter-in-law, Nena (Stackhouse) Lilley of Hartford, Conn.; 17 grandchildren, more than 30 great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Blanche (Victory) Lilley; his wife of two years, Allie Page; one son, Almon Lilley; two sons-in-law, five brothers and sisters, and special friends, Almon Victory, Ernest Campbell and Kenny Eleiott. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, at the Dunn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Naomi Sam’Kpakra officiating.
