HERMON – Edith F. Bradbury, 94, died peacefully June 20, 2004, at a local hospital. She was born April 7, 1910, in Hampden, the daughter of William A. and Grace (Whitmore) Whalen. During her lifetime she held various jobs, the last was cooking at FW Woolworth Company, both in Bangor, and Kenosha, Wis. She enjoyed doing crafts, quilting and gardening. She is survived by a son, Myron L. Bradbury of Corinth; two daughters, Ruth Libby of Bangor, and Roberta Lawson of Kenosha, Wis.; eight grandchildren, Glen and Kari Lawson of Bocohel, Wis., Ray Lawson Jr. and Barbara of Kenosha, Wis., Lisa and Jeff Tilton of Corinth, Lynn Willard of Glenburn, Donald Jr. and Susan of Cumming, Ga., Bruce Bradbury of Glenburn, Debbie of Tennessee; 14 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Victor Whalen and his wife, Alice, of Mohawk, N.Y. She was predeceased by a son, Donald; and a brother, Ralph Whalen. Graveside services will be held 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Snows Corner Cemetery, Fuller Road, Hermon, with the Rev. Adam T. Soderberg, pastor of the East Orrington Congregational Church, officiating. Arrangements by Foley Funeral Service, Bangor.
