CALAIS – Edith Faye McLaughlin, 82, wife of the late Roy Smith McLaughlin, died April 24, 2007, at a Calais health care facility. She was born May 29, 1924, in Plymouth, the daughter of Lyndon E. and Harriet (Knight) Norton. Edith was formerly of Vanceboro. She is survived by four daughters, C. Virginia McLaughlin, Linda Jane Acker, Peggy Lea Scott, and Donna Marie. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, at Vanceboro Cemetery with the Rev. Ellen Beairsto officiating.
