DOVER-FOXCROFT – Edith M. MacDougall, 93, wife of the late Robert H. MacDougall, died Feb. 5, 2004, at a local nursing home. She was born March 27, 1910, in Exeter, the daughter of Charles and Eva (Hersom) Bragg. A graduate of Farmington Normal School, she taught in Garland for several years and then substituted in area schools. She received her LPN license and worked at local nursing homes. While in Corinna, she was a member of the Morses Corner Church and Ladies Circle. She became a member of the Dover-Foxcroft Church of the Nazarene after she and her husband moved to Dover-Foxcroft. Mrs. MacDougall enjoyed gardening and yard work. She is survived by a daughter, Margaret Robinson of Dover-Foxcroft; a daughter-in-law, Thu Miles and her daughter, Mylinh, of Chatsworth, Calif.; a sister, Lilla Eaton of Corinna; a grandson, Stephen Robinson and his wife, Vanee, of Searsport; two granddaughters, Melanie Miles and Debbie Mowrey, both of Texas; two great-grandsons, Ryan and Matthew Robinson of Searsport; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Elwyn C. Miles. Graveside services at the family lot in the Dover Cemetery will be announced in the spring.
