VAN BUREN – Edmund P. Ayotte, 81, died May 4, 2004, at a Caribou hospital. He was born in Van Buren, March 17, 1923, the son of Donat and Agnes (St. Pierre) Ayotte. He is survived by his wife, Joan (Brown) Ayotte of Van Buren; three sons, Richard Ayotte and his wife, Patty, of Van Buren; John Ayotte and David Ayotte, both of Van Buren; one sister, Rita Chabre of Brattleboro, Vt.; three grandchildren, Kimberly Ayotte, Brad Ayotte and Austin Ayotte, all of Van Buren. Relatives and friends may call at the Ouellette-Thibault Funeral Home, 12 High St., Van Buren, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. until time of service on Friday. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday at the St. Bruno-St. Remi Catholic Church. Committal service and interment will be in the parish cemetery.
