BELFAST – Edna A. Dobbins, 90, passed away June 1, 2008, at Harbor Hill, Belfast. She was born March 13, 1918, the daughter of Max Reefer and Fannie (Eisenstadt) Reefer. Edna loved the Red Sox. She also enjoyed opera and reading. She was predeceased by her parents and four siblings. She is survived by a daughter, Susan Bubar and husband, Jerry, of Belfast; grandchildren, Nancy Bubar of East Winthrop, Roxanne Marshall and husband, Daryl, of New Gloucester and Melinda Bubar and husband, Tom Fehrs, of Portland; great-grandchildren, Chris, Joey, Emily, Marshall, Bridget and Jillian Fehrs; several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Edna’s memory to Town-Line Animal Shelter. Graveside services will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast.
