EAST MILLINOCKET – Doris M. Beaumont, 77, wife of the late Andrew Beaumont, died Monday, June 2, 2008, at Millinocket Regional Hospital. She was born Aug. 29, 1930, in Skowhegan, daughter of Paul and Lena (Levesque) Vigue. Doris loved listening and dancing to country music. Doris was a communicant of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, East Millinocket, and a resident of East Millinocket for 50 years. She is survived by three daughters, Colette Beaumont of Oakland, Calif., Anne Marie Smith and husband, William, of Norfolk, Mass., and Nancy B. Findlen and husband, Christopher, of Windham; four grandchildren, David Kaufman, Emma and Nathaniel “Nate” Smith and Rachael Findlen; a niece, Gail Carrigan of Madison; many other nieces, nephews and cousins. Doris will also be missed by her sister-in-law, Genevieve Beaumont, who has been like a sister to Doris for more than 50 years. In addition to her husband, Doris was predeceased by six siblings, of which she was the youngest, Lorraine Vigue, Glendolyn Luce, Forrest Vigue, Arlene Wing, Shirley Richard and Raymond Vigue. Friends are invited to visit with the family 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Lamson Funeral Home, 17 Western Ave., East Millinocket, where a Rosary service will be held 7 p.m. conducted by the officers and members of Daughters of Isabella, St. Ann’s Circle. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday, June 6, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 58 Cedar St., East Millinocket, with the Rev. Joel Cyr, pastor, presider.
