PORTLAND – Edna L. Tozier, 67, died Monday Dec. 15 at Maine Medical Center. She was born Nov. 25, 1936, in Houlton, the daughter of Lee and Ethel (Mchatton) Garnett. Edna is predeceased by her parents; two sisters, Joan Deraps, and Gladys Garnett; and one brother, Lee David Garnett Jr. She is survived by her seven children, Blaine Cushing of Perry, Melanie Deraps and Jelaine Cushing of Baileyville, Bradley Cushing of St. Stevens, New Brunswick, Rachael Corbett of Calais, Kimberly Cushing of Portland, Shawn Cushing of Eastport; three sisters, Rosalie Faser of Harrington, Brenda Martin of Bangor, and Nancy Norton of Steuben; and one brother, Kenneth Garnett of East Waterboro; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Jan. 3, 2004, at Forest Hill Cemetery in Harrington. Arrangements are under the care of Cremation Services of Maine, 182 Waldo Ave. Belfast.
