STEUBEN – Edna M. (Goodeill) Hayward, 91, passed away Sunday, Nov. 6, 2005, at the Baptist Medical Center on Amelia Island, Fla. She was born Jan. 21, 1914, in St. George, New Brunswick, Canada, the daughter of Stephen and Ethel (Turner) Goodeill. She is survived by a son, Gary A. Goodeill and his wife, Irene, of Yulee, Fla.; two grandsons, Steven and his wife, Lori, three great-grandchildren, Chase, Nicole and Devon Goodeill of Dixon, Ill. and John Goodeill of Fort Myers, Fla. Memorial services will be held at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Bernandina Beach, Fla. A second memorial will be held in the Spring of 2006, at the Steuben Union Church, in Steuben. Her son then will return her ashes to Calais Cemetery, in Calais, to place her with her father and mother.
