PRESQUE ISLE – Edward Gardner, 91, died Feb. 6, 2005, at his residence. He was born Aug. 27, 1913, in Chapman the son of Alfred and Delphine (Jarvais) Gardiner. He was a self-employed auto mechanic in Presque Isle. He is survived by a brother, Albert Gardiner of Glastonbury, Conn.; a sister, Lillian Black and her husband, Russell, of Presque Isle; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Ned and Albert Gardner; a sister, Rita Groves. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Alfred Irving celebrant. Relatives and friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at the church. Spring interment will be in Fairmount Cemetery. Arrangements in the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.
