MILLINOCKET and SOME-RVILLE, Mass. – Edward J. “Ted” Bouchard Jr., 61, died at a Bedford, Mass., VA hospital Friday, Oct. 10, 2003. He was born in Millinocket on March 7, 1942, the son of Edward J. and Ruth (Joslyn) Bouchard Sr. Ted was a graduate of Stearns High School, Class of 1960. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in Korea during the Vietnam era. He served on the Millinocket Police Department during the late 1960’s. Ted was a resident of Somerville, Mass., for many years. He enjoyed acting and was a member of the Screen Actor’s Guild. Ted was a licensed counselor and a long-standing member of Alcoholics Anonymous. He is survived by a foster son, Keith Webb of California; a sister, Sharon and husband, Bill Hallett, of Millinocket; his nephews, John Manzo, Keith Manzo, William Hallett Jr., Paul Manzo, and Steven Hallett; his nieces; Lynn Oakes, Ramona Cesare, and Lori LaBelle; also a special cousin, Shirley Donovan and all her family; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; a special friend, Michael Murphy and his family. He was predeceased by his parents; his sister, Darlene Manzo and her husband, John, and their daughter, Rhonda. Graveside committal services will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, 2003, at Millinocket Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, New England Division, Inc., 1 Main St., Suite 300, Topsham, ME 04086 or a charity of one’s choice.
