WINTER HARBOR – Edward J. “Ned” Waldron, 85, died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2007, at a Milbridge health care facility. He was born Aug. 17, 1922, in Woburn, Mass., the son of Patrick F. and Margaret (Alyward) Waldron. He worked for many years as a grounds keeper in Waltham, Mass., at Middlesex County Hospital. He was a member of Holy Name Society and a past member of St. Charles Catholic Church of Woburn, Mass. He is survived by his brother, Robert Waldron and his wife, Mary Ann, of Winter Harbor; a cousin, Eileen Fitzgerald of Wakefield, Mass., and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; four brothers, Francis, John, Joseph and James; and a sister, Mary Ann Thibodeau. Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, at Calvary Cemetery, Woburn, Mass. Memorial donations may be made in Edward’s name to a charity of one’s choice.
