BANGOR – Thomas Michael Doll, 50, died Jan. 2, 2008, at a Bangor health care center. He was born May 7, 1957, in Bangor, son of George Augustine and Mary Frances (Crawford) Doll. Tom had been employed by Eastern Maine Medical Center and retired from the public works department, City of Bangor, due to ill health. Surviving, in addition to his mother, Mary (Crawford) Doll of Bangor, are three children, Kaila, Kara and Karissa Doll, all of Bangor; one granddaughter, MiKenzie Gormely of Bangor; one brother, G. Richard Doll and his wife, Jacquelyn, of Bangor; a nephew, Shawn Doll and his wife, Kimberly; a great-niece, Arria Doll, all of West Rockport; two aunts, Eva (Crawford) Estey of Bangor, and Virginia (Doll) Stark and her husband, Douglas, of Augusta. Relatives and friends are welcome to call 5-7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 7, at St. John’s Catholic Church, York Street, Bangor, with the Rev. Roland Nadeau, Catholic chaplain at St. Joseph Hospital, celebrant. Interment will be at Mount Pleasant Catholic Cemetery, Bangor. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments after the services Monday at Brookings-Smith Family Center, 163 Center St., Bangor.
