CHESTER – Elaine Bumpus, 65, wife of Robert Bumpus, died June 4, 2005, at a Lincoln hospital. She was born July 27, 1939, in Middleboro, Mass., the daughter of William and Beulah (Wilmont) Maxwell. Elaine worked as a greeter at the Lincoln Wal-Mart Store. She dearly loved her whole family. She also loved jewelry. In addition to her husband, Robert, she is survived by four children, Theresa Louise Hogan of Middleboro, Mass., Lori Ann Tash of Hodgdon, Sharon Marie Dubay of Lee and Robert Edward Bumpus of Chester; six grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Robi Lynn Bumpus; and a grandson. Visiting hours were held from 4-7 p.m. Sunday, at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln, during which time the Rev.
