BELFAST – F. Arline Bowen passed away May 4, 2005, after a brief illness. Born Sept. 23, 1916, in Waldo, to Clair and Helen M. (Fuller) Gurney. A graduate from Crosby High School in 1934. Arline worked for many years at P.B. Hustus and Son Tractor company, Field and Quimby and Bowens Grocery. She loved to crochet, knit and ride in the country. She was a devoted animal lover. She is survived by her sister, Madeline Dobbins; her son, Clair E. Hustus; granddaughters, Tammy and Lisa; great-grandchildren, Shannon and Ryan; great-great-grand-sons, Bryton and Taylor; stepson, Norman Bowen and his wife, Charlotte, and their family. Also her best friends Arlene and Elson Johnson. She was predeceased by her parents; a sister, Geraldine Paridis; and her husband, Harry A. Bowen. At her request no funeral services were held. Burial was at the Grove Cemetery Belfast.
