DANFORTH – Elaine R. Lee, 80, died Feb. 27, 2008, surrounded by her family, at a Bangor hospital. She was born May 8, 1927, in Eaton, the daughter of Samuel and Charlotte (Neal) Hafford. Elaine was a certified nurses aid for 25 years at Danforth Nursing Home. She enjoyed sewing, making quilts and spending time with her family. She is survived by four children, Terry of Danforth, Bruce and Kathy of Milford, Connie and Gordon of Brookton and Andy and Brandy of Danforth; six grandchildren, Bruce, Adam, Denny, Tracy, Crystal and Jenny; two sisters, Phyllis and Priscilla of Holden; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Alton, in 1984; eight brothers and two sisters. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Clay Funeral Home – Bartlett Chapel, 24 Houlton Road, Danforth. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Root officiating. Interment will be at Eaton Cemetery.
