CARIBOU – Eldora L. Wilcox, 77, wife of the Rev. Elden J. Wilcox, died Jan. 30, 2006, at her Caribou residence. She was born July 26, 1928, at Caribou, the daughter of Aden and Margaret (Skidgel) Green. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother to her family. Eldora was a member of the North Star Pentecostal Church and was an ordained minister. She married Rev. Elden Wilcox on Aug. 15, 1946. Surviving in addition to her husband of 59 years are two sons and a daughter-in-law, Dennis Wilcox of Perham and George and Vera Wilcox of Caribou; one daughter, Victoria Yerka of Limestone; a sister-in-law, June Green of New Sweden; seven grandchildren, Lanel, William and Amanda Wilcox, Lana Kelly and her husband, Keith, Brian and Elton Pelletier and Trey Yerka; eight great-grandchildren, Ethan and Justin Wilcox, Jeremy, Michelle and Andrea Kelly, Mia, Alton and Nicholas Pelletier. She was predeceased by her parents; a daughter, Lois Wilcox; two brothers, Dale and Clayton; and by two sisters, Oleta and Ula. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, from the chapel of the Mockler Funeral Home, with the Rev. Bruce Blakney, officiating. Spring interment will be in the Woodland Cemetery.
