WALLINGFORD, Conn. – Eleanor Estelle (Overlock) Toth, 82, of Parsons Street, Wallingford, Conn., died Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2006, at a Meriden, Conn., hospital. She was born Jan. 6, 1924, in Hermon, the daughter of the late Norman and Bertha (Pomeroy) Overlock. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph J. Toth. She was a member of the Advent Christian Church in Wallingford, Conn., The Wallingford Senior Center, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Major Raoul Lufbery Post No. 591. She grew up in Hermon and graduated from Hermon High School. She worked in Bangor until 1951. She moved to Wallingford, Conn. after the passing of her husband. She started a daycare, which she operated for many years. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa M. and Michael P. Zavarelli and Sandra J. and Freddy M. Lopez; four grandchildren; five sisters and their husbands, Jennie and Harrison Sylvester, Celia and Elwood Beckwith Jr., Jeanette and Robert Farrar, Gloria and Charles Spencer and Geraldine Ognan; three brothers and their wives, Leo and Elaine, Beverly and Patricia, Charles and Katheline; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
