WINTERPORT – Eleanor M. Perkins, 87, died unexpectedly June 18, 2006, at her home. She was born Oct. 8, 1918, in Hampden, the daughter of Joseph and Bertha M. (Whitmore) Dunton. Eleanor was a loving and devoted mother and will be missed by her surviving children, Hubert Estey, Teresa Hafford and her husband, Michael, all of Winterport, Ronald Perkins of Frankfort, Jefrey Perkins of Clifton; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Eleanor Mae Estey; and a son, Galen Leroy Estey. Private interment will be in Locust Grove Cemetery, Hampden. Arrangements by Memorial Alternatives, 205 Center St., Bangor.
