ELEONOR A. SMALL PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. – Eleonor A. Small, 83, passed away March 26, 2006, at Hospices of the Treasure Coast, Inc. in Stuart, Fla. She was born March 3, 1923, in Chacabuco, Argentina. She had been a resident of Port St. Lucie, Fla. for 20 years, moving from the Panama Canal Zone. Eleonor had been an interpreter and translator for the IAGS – Department of Defense, before retirement. She was a member of the Panama Canal Society of Florida and the AARP. Survivors include her husband, Howard Small of Port St. Lucie; daughter, Alexandra Christine Small of Port St. Lucie; son, Stephan Small of Fairfield, Iowa; brother, Enrique Grunhaut of Cordoba, Argentina; and one granddaughter. Memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Small’s memory to Hospices of the Treasure Coast, Inc., 1201 SE Indian St., Stuart, FL 34997.
