ORRINGTON – Elizabeth Margaret (Boulter) Sekera, 82, a 57-year resident of Orrington, willfully died Oct. 15, 2004, surrounded by her loving family, at the Leach Home in Brewer. She was born Aug. 8, 1922, in Penobscot, daughter of Ethel (Thibodeau) Boulter and adoptive parents Bernard and Anna (Thibodeau) Constantine. Betty was a graduate of John Bapst High School and was employed as a bookkeeper for Mary Dietrich MD and later with the Brewer Federal Credit Union as teller/loan clerk. She was a communicant of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church of Brewer and the sodality. A Cub Scout den leader, Pack 44 of Orrington, and the Orrington Grange. “Betty will be remembered as a women for all seasons”. Seamstress, potter, craftperson and gardener. Surviving are her husband of 62 years, George “Rocky” Sekera of Brewer; three children, Joseph W. Sekera and his wife, Marie, of Eddington, Robert G. Sekera of Eddington, Margaret A. Whitcomb and her husband, Stephen, of Newburgh; nine grandchildren, J. Todd Sekera and Jill, Nichole M. Sekera and Gabe, Andrew C. Sekera, Kimberly N. Seaman and Jayson, Jennifer E. Sekera, Elizabeth R. Sekera, Kristen A. Sekera, Meghan A. Sekera and Michael A. Sekera; three great-grandchildren, Gabrielle, Eliot and Luke, one cousin Walter Cochrane of New York. She was predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Mary Jo “Kelly” Sekera. Friends may call 4-7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 18, at Brookings-Smith, Clark-Piper Chapel, 55 South Main St., Brewer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, 440 South Main St., Brewer, with the Rev. Joel Cyr celebrant. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Winterport.
