PRESQUE ISLE – Elizabeth Patenaude, 67, died Monday, April 19, 2004, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Aug. 18, 1936, at Ashland, the daughter of David Beaulier and Bertha Bell. Elizabeth was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Antoine Patenaude Sr. of Presque Isle; her mother, Bertha Wood of Meriden, Conn.; five sons, David of Bangor, Tony Patenaude Jr., Robert, and Michael, all of Presque Isle, Edmund of Berwick; three daughters, Polly Theriault of Grand Falls, New Brunswick, Barbara Jarett of Caribou, and Julie Foy of Wilton; 16 grandchildren; three brothers, Fred Wood of Connecticut, Ed Wood Jr. of Fort Fairfield, and Elmer Bell Jr. of Millinocket; four sisters, Amy Hand of Ashland, Barbara Cyr of Meriden, Conn., Beatrice Carter of Presque Isle, Pauline Gillis of Meriden, Conn. She was predeceased by her father; and a brother, Alfred Bell. Relatives and friends may call 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, with Rev. Fred Irving Celebrant. Interment will be at Fairmount Cemetery, Presque Isle.
