GUILFORD – Ellen Goulette, 50, died peacefully June 5, 2004, at her residence. She was born April 27, 1954, at Woodstock, New Brunswick, a daughter of Harry and Joan (Cluff) Kinens. Ellen and her husband, Barry, co-owned and operated Goulette’s IGA in Guilford. She had attended the Guilford United Methodist Church and the Dover-Foxcroft Congregational Church. She was an active member of Therapy Dogs International, and was able to take her dogs to area nursing homes and participate in this program until this past winter. In addition to her husband of Guilford, and daughter, Nicole of Damariscotta, Ellen is survived by her maternal grandmother, Muriel Cluff of Woodstock, New Brunswick; a brother, Robert and wife, Lee Ann Kinens, and their daughter, Abigail, of Houlton; an aunt and uncle, Thomas and Carol Bither of Scarborough; and her stepmother, Mildred Kinens of Hudson. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 21 Oak St., Guilford. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 9, at the Dover-Foxcroft Congregational Church, with the Rev. Kenneth Dale officiating.
