BUCKSPORT – Eloise K. Kinstler, 94, died peacefully July 6, 2007, at a Bangor nursing facility. She was born Aug. 6, 1912, in Petersburg, Ill., the daughter of George P. and Eleanor G. (Guinan) Kern. She graduated from Petersburg High School, Class of 1930 and St. Joseph School of Nursing, Bloomington, Ill. Eloise married her beloved Clifford C. Kinstler, May 20, 1940. After their marriage, they moved to the Harbor district of Searsport in 1944, then to Bucksport in 1956. She was a member of the St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, the women’s group at the church, the historical society and the Bucksport garden club. She enjoyed painting pictures for her family and friends, helping others, gardening, playing cards and animals. Her family was her greatest love. The family would like to give a special thanks to Lisa and Keith Barker, Gloria Parkhurst, Marjorie McAllian, Linda Lancaster and Una Sukeforth. The family would also like to thank Stillwater Health Care Facility for their loving care and support during our mother’s stay. She is survived by her daughter, Cecily Goulding and her husband, Walter, of New Gloucester; her son, Barron Kinstler of Chicago; one sister, Georgene Bliss of Towanda, Ill.; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Clifford C. Kinstler in 1996; her son, Clifford C. Jr.; two sisters, Eleanor Johnson and Sister Mary Margaret. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tue-day, July 10, at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church with Father James Plourde, celebrant. Visiting hours will be held 9-9:45 a.m. Tuesday at Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home. Interment will be at St. Vincent De Paul Cemetery, Bucksport.
