LINCOLN – Floyd Albert Libby, 95, died July 7, 2007, in Lincoln. He was born May 12, 1913, in Lincoln, the son of Alvah and Josephine (Mott) Libby. Floyd was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved children and enjoyed working in his garden and tying flies. He was an avid Red Sox fan, and was proud to have lived through two World Series Red Sox victories. He will be remembered for his molasses cookies and his sprinkle cakes. He is survived by six children, Terry of Winn, Linwood of Lincoln, Randy of Brunswick, Lorraine of Syracuse, N.Y., Beverly of Concord, N.H., and Joan of Lincoln; 19 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grand-child. He was predeceased by his wife of 65 years, Lelia. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, at Maranatha Riverside Church, Lincoln. Interment will be at Lincoln Cemetery.
