BUCKSPORT – Elsie M. (Chambers) Snowman, 73, the wife of the late Enos W. Snowman, died Aug. 11, 2006, at Blue Hill, after a short illness. She was born May 28, 1933, in Orland, daughter of Hazel (Reynolds) and Norman Chambers Sr. She attended the Orland schools. She and her husband worked together at Gunvers Manufacturing Corp. in Manchester, Conn. for more than 21 years. Elsie is survived by one brother, Larry Chambers and his wife, Jean; one sister, Hope Atwood and her friend, Richard Cosby; a very special friend, Sheila Soper. She was predeceased by her husband, Enos in 1991; one sister, Faye Snowman; and one brother, Robert Chambers. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 14, at Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Ho-me, 28 Elm St., Bucksport, with Pastor Peter Remick officiating. Visitation will be held noon until time of service. Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery, Bucksport. Donations in her memory may be made to the Maine Cancer Foundation, P.O.
