BANGOR – Elsie M. Gamble, 82, died Sept. 30, 2007, at her home. She was born July 9, 1925, in Bradford, the daughter of Ulysses F. and Frances M. (Bowley) Sabine. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 54 years, Kenneth L. Gamble. Sur-viving are a son, Lawrence Earl Gamble and his wife, Kara, of Wolfforth, Texas; a daughter, Lois Evelyn Newton and her husband, Phinehas, of Bangor; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one sister, Earlene Sullivan of Hudson. Relatives and friends are invited to call 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, with the Rev.
