WHITING – Emogene H. Look, 88, passed away Oct. 31, 2007, surrounded by her family at her home. She was born March 9, 1919, in Marshfield, the daughter of the late Walter and Susie (Reynolds) Harmon. Emogene worked at A & M Canning Co., for more than 32 years until her retirement. She was a member of Machias American Legion Auxiliary for more than 20 years. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed working in her flowerbeds. Emogene adored her family and loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Timothy Look of Machias, Grady Look Sr. of Tennessee, Marlene Bryant of Calais, Dale Look and fiance, Joanna, of Hancock and Lynn Look Jr. and wife, Leah, of Virginia; 16 grandchildren, including her namesake, Emogene Harriet Hill; many great-grandchildren; brother, Harvey Harmon and wife, Lorraine, of Marshfield; sister, Alice Lord of South Berwick; brother-in-law, Donald Look and his wife, Kay, of Whiting; sister-in-law, Priscilla Look of Whiting; many nieces and nephews including a special nephew, David Harmon; and special friend, Jim Stasumas of Vermont. She was predeceased by her husband, Lynn H. Look Sr.; an infant son, an infant daughter, many brothers and sisters; and special friend, Esther Johnson. The family gives a special thanks to Joanne, Erica and Tara of Community Health and Counseling Services Hospice Service. Visiting hours will be held 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, at Bragdon-Kelley-Campbell Funeral Home, Machias. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, at Holmes Bay Baptist Church with Pastor Greg Schors officiating.
