MONSON and GREENVILLE Erick Viik, 95, husband of the late Martha (Tuomi) Viik, died May 23, 2008, at a Greenville health care center. He was born Aug. 22, 1912, in Finland. Erick lived in Monson most of his life, where he owned a log home and worked as a farmer and woodsman. He also enjoyed flying as a private pilot. Erick was predeceased by his wife; and his daughter, Mary Catherine Viik. A private burial was held at Lake Road Cemetery, Monson.
