PRESQUE ISLE – Erin E. Sperrey, 20, died unexpectedly Jan. 2, 2005. She was born Feb. 15, 1984, in Nashua, N.H. Erin graduated as an honor roll student from Presque Isle High School in 2002. She was featured as a “County All-Star” by WAGM-TV in 2001 for her volunteer work with children. Erin was an artist who loved oil and watercolor painting, drawing and writing poetry. Erin worked at Tim Horton’s Restaurant in Caribou, where she was recently promoted to supervisor. She was especially proud of this accomplishment. Erin was a member of the Church of Jesus in Presque Isle where she attended with her family. She had plans to enter the Computer Aided Drafting Program at Northern Maine Community College in the fall. She was a beautiful, kind, sensitive and caring person who is greatly loved and will be sadly missed by her parents, Kim and Johna Lovely of Mapleton; her father, Kevin Sperrey of Washburn; her maternal grandparents, Sandy and Linda Stevens of Presque Isle and Kenneth Thompson of Carmel; her paternal grandparents, Eula Lovely of Augusta and Margaret and Howard Sperrey of Washburn; her sister and brother-in-law, Amanda McKnight and Ryan Sylvia of Presque Isle; her brother, Taylor Lovely of Mapleton; her niece and nephew, Megan and Brandon McKnight of Presque Isle; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved her very much. She will be especially missed by her best friend, Amy Corbin; and a special cousin, Jessica Lovely. She will also be deeply missed by the love of her life, Keith Wilcox of Caribou. Relatives and friends may call 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Reverends Harold Fulton and Earl Durost officiating. Spring Interment will be in Fairmount Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the family to establish a fund for businesses who have young people working at night to install security devices to protect them.
