ERMA F. BUCK SEBRING, Fla. – Erma F. Buck, 87, passed away Saturday, Sept. 24, 2005. She was born Nov. 6, 1917, in Lynn, Mass. to Roy H. and Estella (Haydock) Fernald. She was a physical education teacher and a winter resident of Sebring, Fla. from 1978-1997, becoming a permanent resident in 1997. She was a member of St. Agnes Episcopal Church, S.A.R. Boston University Alumni, she graduated from Boston University-Sargent College of Physical Education, Class of 1939. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Arnold L. Buck of Sebring, Fla.; daughters, Carol (Charlie) Nesci of Hollywood, Md., Marilyn VanBogelen (Richard Darbie) of Waldorf, Md., Bonnie (Keith) McIver of Huntington Beach, Calif.; grandchildren, Kim Nesci and Chuck Nesci. Services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, at the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers or memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice of Highlands County.
